Our UPS blew up last night and our back up generator didn't kick in....

Damn... so many servers not working... No email, no Print shares, no File Shares, No AS400 access, no domain controllers, no DHCP no DNS... [img]graemlins/rain.gif[/img]

But the good news is i got the internet connection working [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Gonna prolly have to check into those other problems pretty soon... [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

Yeah, i can see how that would happen. Generator usually only kick in when the power drops/dips on the incomming line - not when your internal conditioning systems blows.

You need a UPS for your UPS...

...sheeesh, I thought i was bad getting to work at 9!

But we think the UPS had a reaction to the generator not kicking in when the power went out...

No matter, got everything up and running again... Although Exchange gave me attitude...
